"inTEST Thermal Solutions in Casablanca on 15 February 2026: what the partnership covers, and why local presence changes everything on thermal test equipment."

On 15 February 2026, a delegation from inTEST Thermal Solutions travelled to Casablanca to formalise a strategic partnership with Freshen Cool Energie covering Morocco, North Africa and the Middle East.

Behind the event lies a practical question for laboratories and industrial operators across the region: who do you call when a thermal test system fails in Casablanca, Tangier or Rabat.

Who inTEST Thermal Solutions are

inTEST Thermal Solutions designs temperature control and test equipment for industry and research. These are not comfort or storage machines: they subject a component, a circuit board or a material to precise, repeatable thermal conditions in order to verify how it behaves.

The group brings together several brands that Freshen Cool Energie already carries.

Temptronic

ThermoStream systems deliver a temperature-controlled air stream directly onto the component under test, with no chamber. Temperature changes are fast, which allows cycles to run back to back on a test line.

Thermonics

Cooling systems for test applications, down to very low temperatures. This is the range covered by the work our teams carried out on a −85 °C chiller.

Sigma Systems

Thermal chambers and platforms, where the whole enclosure is brought to temperature, across ranges from deep cold to high heat.

Exact ranges vary by model and are detailed on each product range page.

What the partnership commits to

The partnership covers representation of these ranges in Morocco, North Africa and the Middle East, and the ability to service the installed equipment.

It is the second point that matters most to an operator. Buying imported equipment presents no particular difficulty; getting it running again when it stops does.

Why local presence changes everything on this equipment

A failed air conditioner can be diagnosed with common instruments and available parts. A thermal test system cannot.

Take an ultra-low temperature chiller. Reaching −85 °C takes more than a single compression stage: the machine runs as a cascade, two nested refrigerant circuits, the first cooling the condenser of the second. The two stages are interdependent. A drift in one shows up as a loss of overall performance, without the cause being readable from the symptoms.

Three practical consequences:

  • Diagnosis takes time and requires knowing the architecture of the machine, not just refrigeration principles.
  • Parts are not interchangeable with ordinary refrigeration equipment.
  • Downtime is expensive: a test bench at a standstill is a suspended test campaign, not an inconvenience.

Flying a technician in from Europe or the United States for this kind of fault adds days to the downtime, sometimes weeks if a part has to follow. Having a team trained on these machines on the ground changes the order of magnitude of that delay.

What it changes for Moroccan operators

Thermal test equipment serves clearly identified sectors in Morocco: electronics and semiconductors, aerospace, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and university and private research laboratories.

Until now these operators shared the same constraint: a fleet of imported equipment, and technical support at a distance. The partnership answers that constraint with a local presence, access to the group's ranges and the ability to intervene on site.

A statement is worth what it produces

An announced partnership remains an intention until an intervention demonstrates it. Our teams have since carried out the diagnosis, repair and recommissioning of a TS Thermonics ultra-low temperature chiller, tested and stabilised at its rated −85 °C.

It is that kind of work, rather than the announcement itself, that shows what the partnership makes possible.
