Massive Power in
LN2 Cooling
Harness the power of liquid nitrogen for ultra-fast temperature pull-downs and unmatched cooling capacity. Ideal for severe environmental testing and ultra-cold industrial processes.
Exceptional Cryogenic Efficiency
Power & Speed
Unlike mechanical systems, our LN2 chillers offer near-instantaneous thermal response with a minimal floor footprint.
Ultra-Fast Transition
Extremely high temperature ramp rates for shortened test cycles.
Dynamic Capacity
Delivers up to 20 kW of cooling at -90°C for massive thermal loads.
Mechanical Simplicity
Fewer moving parts, reducing maintenance and increasing system reliability.
Pros & Cons of an LN2-Cooled Chiller
Pros
Highest capacity cooling (up to 20kW)
Extremely fast temperature transition rates
Smaller footprint and lighter weight
Less expensive purchase price
Cons
LN2 consumption adds recurring costs
GN2 exhaust requires facility ventilation
Proprietary mixer prevents freezing of transfer fluids
How an LN2-Cooled Chiller Works
Liquid nitrogen (LN2) is supplied to a heat exchanger where it cools the heat transfer fluid. The fluid is continuously circulated in a loop between the heat exchanger and the heat load. Heat from the load is transferred to the heat exchanger where it is expelled with the gaseous nitrogen (GN2) exhaust.
